The road that leads to the Holy Jim parking lot will be repaired. We will be brushing the trails of the Holy Jim Canyon Trails and Trabuco Canyon Trails, and doing some earthwork on Trabuco Canyon Trail.
The Forest Service will transport our volunteers and gas powered equipment to the Trabuco Trail’s lower end and the Holy Jim Trail at the Main Divide. To repair minor erosion to the Trabuco Trail’s trail bed, we plan to have people drop off at the Trabuco Trail and four gas-powered hedge trimmers begin at Holy Jim. Rest of the volunteers will use hand tools to start at the bottom.
We would most likely have people working from the top meet at Rose Canyon Road and Trabuco Canyon Road.
If it rains, the trail work will be rescheduled to Saturday, February 5, 2019. According to the forecast, it will be sunny.
