Geoffrey Montague, a 27-year-old amateur racing driver, will beat anyone tomorrow. He will travel to Coldspring, Texas next month, to defend the GT Golden Bike that he earned for his fastest lap on the Sea Otter Classic cross-country course. Montague circled the 19-mile course.
The GT Golden Bike’s winner is simply the non-pro rider who crosses the finish line in an official sanctioned race of the Golden Race Series. The bike is a custom-built Marathon Team or Zaskar Team equipped with XTR components, carbon fiber and everything else. It’s the fastest bike on two wheels, and GT guarantees that the winner will choose any color they want.
